Bonfires are an indie alternative band formed in Cheddleton, Staffordshire. Members are Stuart Whiston, Darren Edwards and Mike Lo Bosco. Their sound is indie music operating outside of the tight-trousered fashions of the moment. With shades of early Verve, Echo and The Bunnymen, the Cure, Oasis and a dash of Jesus and Mary Chain reverberating through them, Bonfires songs are well heeled, resplendent with soaring melodies and huge life affirming choruses. Are they super original? Not really, but certainly a fun listen!
